An official army family and MWR Site

Volunteer Opportunities

The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) is looking for Volunteers to join the team that inspires camaraderie in the workforce. As a volunteer you will be involved in the execution of a wide series of Community Special Events within the Fort Hunter Liggett Community.

Events include:

  • Christmas Events
  • 4th of July Jamboree
  • Youth Fishing Derby
  • 5K Runs
  • Reading Activities
  • Military Spouse Appreciation Day
  • And much more!

Not only this is a great way to support the Fort Hunter Liggett Community, officially registered volunteers will also keep track of the hours and can utilize the experience gained as work experience when seeking Federal Government Experience. FMWR also hosts a Volunteer Appreciation event in April where we say Thank You to all of our volunteers and each receives a token of our appreciation.
